A week in Green Hydrogen: Biden administration support hydrogen project, South Korea launched Hydrogen Trucks and more!
#1 Biden administration support Monolith Nebraska LLC
Biden administration supports Monolith Nebraska LLC with a $ 1.04 billion conditional loan guarantee for a green hydrogen project. Monolith works on Turquoise hydrogen project. At the moment they work on methane pyrolysis with 100% renewable energy where natural gas converts to hydrogen and carbon black. Unlike Steam Methane Reforming, the methane pyrolysis process does not emit CO2, it produces solid carbon and Hydrogen. Further, since they use 100% renewable source for heat which make the process more carbon neutral.
